Apple releases macOS 11.3, watchOS 7.4, and tvOS 14.5 beta 5 for developers

Apple just released beta 5 of all its developer operating systems a few minutes ago. In this case it is macOS Big Sur 11.3, watchOS 7.4, tvOS 14.5, iOS 14.5, and iPadOS 14.5 beta 5. All these versions suffer changes in stability and security.

For now we are not finding news beyond the improvements in stability and performance, so it is almost certain that the versions do not add more changes. In this case Apple released all the developer versions at once, just like it did last week and they are all in beta version 5.

We could have the new official version for next month although this is not known for sure. Apple works to have the versions as stable as possible at the time of officially launching them and it seems that this time they could be launched next month counting that Release Candidate (RC) version missing which is usually the last before the final versions.

In macOS we find changes focused on stability and in iOS and watchOS the most anticipated novelty by users who have iPhone with Face ID and an Apple Watch. The option to unlock the iPhone using the watch with the mask on is undoubtedly the best novelty that this version has. For now, it is unknown if there are news beyond those related to security in these beta 5, but we will be attentive in case there is any outstanding one and we will share it here.
