Apple releases fifth beta of tvOS 10.2.1

This week has been relatively quiet when it comes to betas, since the Cupertino-based company has only released one beta, the fifth of macOS 10.12.5, no betas for the Apple Watch or devices managed by iOS. Yesterday Thursday launched a new beta, the fifth beta of tvOS 10.2.5, the next version of the Apple TV operating system that will come to these devices. Like all the betas that Apple releases for this device, tvOS 10.2.1 XNUMXth beta is intended for developers only, due to the difficulty that the installation of the necessary certificate on the Apple TV can present for some users.

This beta, which will be the first update of iOS 10.2, a version that came with a large number of new features, does not include important new features in terms of functions since Apple is focusing on sharpen a version of the Apple TV operating system that will stay updated until the launch of tvOS 11, scheduled for the end of September or the beginning of October.

A few weeks ago, the Apple TV Remote app was updated to become compatible with the iPad, so that we can manage the content that is displayed on our device through the Apple tablet. Considering that the iPad is usually found in the living room in most homes, it was an update that sooner or later had to arrive. Fortunately users have not had to wait long.

On June 5, Apple will start the Apple Developers Conference, a conference in which Apple to officially present tvOS 11 and the rest of the operating systems the company currently works on. Hours after launch, the Cupertino guys will release the final version of tvOS 11, a beta that will again only be available to registered developers.
