Apple Maps adds Montreal public transportation information

As the months go by, those from Cupertino are adding more cities to your public transport information system that allows us to establish routes using this type of transport. Although today there are really very few cities that can enjoy this information, those of Cupertino should put their batteries and continue working to add this excellent functionality in more cities and countries. The last city that has released this type of information is Montreal, which together with Toronto, becomes the second city in the country with this type of information.

From this moment on, all citizens of the city of Montreal You can now get information on public transport by bus and metro throughout the city to create transport routes, including most of the neighborhoods among which we find: Blainville, Boucherville, Brossard, Châteauguay, Dollard-des-Ormeaux, Laval, Longueuil, Repentigny, Saint-Jérôme, Saint-Lambert and Terrebonne.

In order to add all this information, those of Cupertino have been based on the information provided by the Société de transport de Montréal (STM), agency in charge of coordinating public transport in the city. The neighborhoods that have been left out due to lack of connection by bus or metro will be added soon when the STM opens new routes in those areas.

Currently, as I have commented above, the information on public transport in the Maps of Apple is available in a few cities including: Baltimore, New York, Philadelphia, Boston, Chicago, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Berlin, Mexico City, London, Sydney and several major cities in China. As is usual, Apple does not inform about the future movements of its application, so we will never know when we will be able to enjoy this excellent service in more countries.
