Apple Maps vans are seen in Portugal, Spain, Croatia and Sardinia

Apple maps are getting more and more accurate. At the moment we are not seeing great news in relation to the possibility of incorporating a service similar to street View, but we do gain characteristics, data of interest and great information when we want to travel. Apple has a websites dedicated to the movements of your vehicles, responsible for obtaining accurate information, which is transferred to our maps. This week the actions have intensified. For the first time, the vehicles are in Croatia and Portugal. At the same time, the island of Sardinia is being captured by Apple's targets.

In addition, in the last hours, several users have reported photographs of the Apple vehicle in Madrid and Barcelona. The more information the better, and therefore, it would be appropriate for at least all the big cities to have information on public transport and traffic, in a short space of time.

Starting on the 20th of this month, the vehicles will take pictures in Croatia, in the county of Split-Dalmatia and in the county of Šibenik-Knin. Two weeks later, they will move to Portugal, covering the Alentejo region of Portugal.

To this list are added the actions carried out by Apple in more than 35 states in the US, as well as the main cities of France, Ireland, Italy, Slovenia, Sweden and the United Kingdom.

Something has Apple stored, although we do not yet know what it is. Apple announced that it will not share personal data, such as the faces of the people it captures. This suggests that the company is working on something more than the graphical representation of the terrain.

On the other hand, some users believe that Apple is carrying out a mixed project. That is, at the same time that it takes images, these should be used for the autonomous driving of a future Apple vehicle. This fact is not confirmed by the company, but everything that means seeing movement augurs new technology of the company that will not leave us indifferent.
