Although we believe that Apple has parked the expansion of the mobile payment method Apple Pay to be able to focus on Apple Music it is not like that and it is that those of Cupertino have so many recruited workers that has an infinite number of work teams that do not stop taking steps, each one in their field.

This is the case of Apple Pay that continues to expand in the United States to land in a big way at the University of Oklahoma. Now, the students of this university you will be able to make payments using your iOS devices and Apple Watch in quite a few services on campus.

While news that has circulated in the media ensures that Europe will begin to ban the use of the Apple Watch in universities and, consequently, the use of Apple Pay with it, in the United States they have another way of seeing things and they do the opposite, encourage payments to be made with Apple Pay.

The University of Oklahoma is reportedly the first to introduce Apple Pay, but will be followed shortly by more than 500 schools across the country. In this way, the students of this university will be able to make payments at restaurants, vending machines, bookstores, etc.

It is not the first time that this university has been named in Cupertino and it is that Tim Cook has made mention of it in the last presentation of results, along with that of Auburn or Kentucky, universities that are doing everything possible to make use of this payment system.

For now, this payment method is being deployed in the United States mainly since last October it landed in the United Kingdom. Although we Spaniards have the necessary devices to make payments with Apple Pay, We are not yet the target of the Bitten Apple Company.
