After the gale of yesterday's keynote where the bets pointed to Apple presenting the new iPhone, leaving for later the iPad and the previously known as iWatch (Watch), now it also leaves us a new payment platform where our partner Jordi discovered us in this other entry. This new payment service will base its success on the conjunction of NFC (Near Field Communication) technology with Touch-ID, so it will be enough to bring our iPhone to a reader compatible with the item we are going to buy, at that moment it will open Passbook automatically to be able to choose the credit or debit card and then with our fingerprint, to be able to confirm the transaction.

In the video that we show you after the jump you can see the complete operation of the system that under controlled environment from a demo everything seems to work perfectly. Undoubtedly, a method that, if it works correctly, will save us time in this type of action, although it also carries the danger that being so "comfortable" we will go overboard when shopping.

For example, the card that has been registered with your Apple ID becomes automatically on your default cardHowever, others can also be added by using the camera on the iPhone 6 to identify them. In this way, the iPhone will request permission from your bank and if everything is correct, the card will be added to Passbook. If we want to choose another card that is not the default one, we can do it from Passbook.

In this way it appears that Apple Pay will overcome the two main drawbacks of existing contactless cards: Security and transaction limits on the card that is supposedly usually 35 - 50 € in those contactless payments.
