Apple honors programmers and creators on International Women's Day

The firm has just released a statement in which, with the collaboration of Girls Who Code and an exclusive schedule of Today at Apple sessions, it is intended to enhance the role of women. From Cupertino they have an agenda full of activities related to women and they are not going to stick to a specific day, they want this to be throughout the month of March.

That is why to celebrate it, they are going to give women much more prominence with the testimonies of programmers, music creators, artists, photographers and entrepreneurs from all over the world. Apple also reaffirms its commitment to training thanks to its recent collaboration with Girls Who Code, which seeks to give more training opportunities to young women.

Apple wants to recognize the experiences and creative contributions of women and will offer new training opportunities for programmers by adding “Programming for All” content with more than 90.000 Girls Who Code participants and trainers of the 50 states that will learn to use Apple's programming language, Swift with which most apps are designed and which they say is so easy to master.

Women have earned the right to have their ideas shape the future. We are very proud to partner with Girls Who Code, who work very hard to make the girls of today the developers and innovators of the future.

Now in some Apple Stores around the world, attendees can participate in more than 60 sessions of the series "Made By Women”, Taught by artists, music creators, photographers, app developers, scientists and entrepreneurs, who seek to inspire the next generation with practical sessions that will help unleash all their creativity and take their passions a step further.
