The guys at Apple want to shut down macOS Mojave and focus on macOS Catalina betas. A few minutes ago Apple released the one it will surely be the latest version of macOS Mojave, version 10.14.6, just a week after beta 5.
Apple will have rushed this version, because except for security updates, it must be the last of Mojave. Those who for some reason take time to update to Catalina, such as applications that still run in 32 bits, will want this version to be as fluid as possible. To download the update manually, you must go to System preferences, to the section Software update. To avoid server saturation, Apple releases updates in a staggered manner around the world. If you don't see it available, wait a few minutes. If we read the release notes of macOS 10.14.6 Mojave, we find the following detail:
- Resolves an issue that prevented the creation of a new Boot Camp partition on an iMac or Mac mini with Fusion Drive.
- Fixes an issue that was causing iinterruptions during system reboot.
