After learning that the Fifth Avenue Apple Store will close for renovations, Oxford Development Co. has confirmed that the three-story building in Pittsburgh's Strip District would already be fully leased within your 3 Crossings projectaccording to sources at the Pittsburgh Business Times. Until now this company had refused to declare the name of the tenant after saying in March of this year that the building was already fully rented as I have said.

According to sources close to the operation, they told the newspaper that the tenant in question is Apple Inc., although it is not yet clear what functions will the office perform we do know that the Cupertino-based company maintains its presence at the Collaborative Innovation Center at Carnegie Mellon University and would have been looking for a larger office within Pittsburgh.

According to different information, Apple would have already rented the equivalent of a plant and a half within the building or what is the same 2.415 square meters in the building located on the corner between 25 and Smallman. The other company that will occupy the rest of the building, that is, 4.923 square meters will be Rycon Construction Inc, which will move its headquarters to this building, sharing offices with the technology giant. Completion of works and installations is scheduled for late fall.

This is an important step for Oxford and its 3 Crossings project, a $ 130 million plan that covers four hectares along Smallman and Railroad between 25th and 28th streets. Designed to integrate a complex of 300 apartments, a parking lot and an office space that was expanded from the initial 24000 square meters to the current 35000 square meters.

This apartment, office and leisure complex aims to integrate an “all-in-one” community where work, life and everything else is at hand just as reads the poster that you have in the image above.
