Apple rents large office spaces near Apple Park

The gigantic facilities that make up Apple Park, has room for about 15.000 employees, but it seems that despite being a private area with restricted access, Cupertino guys don't trust their employees much and they are dedicating themselves to renting new office spaces near Apple Park, to probably start developing new projects that they want to keep secret for as long as possible, since otherwise the decision to rent more space when in the new ones is not understood facilities have to spare.

As reported by The Mercury News, Apple has rented two office spaces located at the corner of Kifer Road and Uranium Drive, office spaces that have dimensions of 43.000 and 30.000 square feet. Apple has confirmed that it has rented these office spaces but, as is logical and usual in the company, it has not reported what the company's plans are for them. But it is not the only space that the company has for rent outside of Apple Park, since according to the same publication, Apple has 105.000 square feet of space very close to the offices it just rented.

These new standalone headquarters facilities could be dedicated to Project Titan, a project that was leaked in 2015 and in which Apple was rumored to have intended to make an electric car, but was completely scrapped in late 2016, although at the beginning of 2017, the Tim Cook confirmed that Apple was working on autonomous vehicle driving technology, without confirming whether this project involved the mass production of its own vehicle, something that according to a large number of analysts is unfeasible for a company that does not have any experience in this sector despite having hired a large number of professionals of the automotive industry.
