Apple begins manufacturing its own battery management chips

For those who do not know anything about how Apple manages the different components that are part of its products, we can tell you that depending on which products, certain parts are manufactured by Apple and others are ordered from different suppliers that, Following the precise design instructions of the Cupertino company, they manufacture the necessary parts and chips to the millimeter.

Another thing that you have always wondered is why Apple makes its computers have so much autonomy in terms of their battery or even devices like the iPad They can have a range of up to ten hours.

This is achieved because Apple designs even the smallest part of its products. With this we want to point out that the batteries of Apple products have internal components, chips specifically designed by the company and that help the team to the energy in the battery can be used in the most efficient way possible.

These power control chips had always been made by a vendor outside of Apple called Dialogue, but it seems that according to reports and statements by its own CEO, the orders that Apple has made for this type of component it has decreased in recent months by 30%.

As you may already know, Apple has had some issues lately with batteries of your devices. From the problem found in the new 13-inch MacBook Pros without Touch Bar, to the problems that has occurred in millions of phones due to battery degradation that caused the device to slow down little by little.

Those who have installed the latest versions of iOS will be able to verify that Apple has made an item available to users in which we can check the health of the battery of our device. This new option is in beta and we could see final versions in the next systems.

On the Apple computer system, the remaining battery icon was always displayed in the top menu bar of macOS. However, once, due to problems with the illogical drainage of the batteries of their computers, they decided to remove the icon. Users immediately complained that this was not the way to solve the problem and those in Cupertino they made the modifications they estimated in the software until the problem was solved.

Well, seen what we have seen, we will see how the issue of batteries is in Apple products.
