We have been a few months in which practically every week we have one or more news related to Apple's video streaming service, a service that little by little is increasing its catalog with series, films and documentaries of all kinds.
The latest news related to Apple TV + can be found at Variety. According to this publication Apple has signed six new actors for the drama Physical, actors who join the already announced protagonist Rose Byrne, an actress known for in series such as Angie and Tribeca, Mrs. America and Damages and Prejudices.
The six new actors Joining the cast of this new series are Paul Sparks, Rory Scovel, Loy Taylor Pucci, Della Saba, Dierdre Friel, and Ashley Liao, all of whom will have supporting roles in the series.
Physical follows Sheile (played by Rose Byrne) a woman who fights for her life as a homemaker who suffers abuse in a Southern California community in the 80s that discover aerobics.
This new series has been written by Annie Weisman, who will also do the showrunner and executive producer of the series. At the moment it is not clear when the filming will begin, but once practically the entire cast of the series has been confirmed, it will be a matter of a couple of months before the recording begins.
For all of you curious to see if Rose Byrne has some kind of relationship with actor Gabriel Byrne, you don't have to bother, because I have already done it. They have no relationship beyond surname.
Most of the content available on Apple TV + is American, with some Israeli and English series. But it could change soon if Apple is forced to include European production just like Netflix, HBO and Amazon Prime currently do.
