Apple updates Final Cut Pro X, Motion and Compressor software

The new versions of Final Cut Pro X, Motion and Compressor are now available for download on the Mac App Store. In the case of Final Cut Por X version is at 10.3.2, in Motion the version is at 5.3.1 and for Compressor at 4.3.1. These updates arrive hours after the launch of the new version of Logic Pro X for Mac users. What can be highlighted are improvements in the performance of this software and above all the correction of problems or bugs that the previous version had. The last update of Final Cut Pro X arrived in November of last year, Motion and Compressor in the month of October.

Final Cut Pro X 10 3.2 .. includes the following improvements and new features:

  • Custom folders of audio files can be added to the sound effect browser
  • Using the "Delete and Join" feature on audio-only clips no longer disables the selected range

  • Fixed an issue that resulted in secondary tracks containing mixed features overlapping on the timeline
  • Resolved an issue that prevented Final Cut Pro projects from being burned to DVD discs using the Apple USB SuperDrive

The tool Motion 5.3.1 includes the following news and improvements:

  • App stability when using various camera behaviors has been improved
  • Performance has been improved when exporting H.264 files and changing the frame rate
  • Fixed a stability issue related to the use of the timecode text generator
  • Fixed a stability issue related to cursor movement over markers during playback
  • Fixed a stability issue that affected the use of the quick keyframe shift function

Compressor 4.3.1 includes the following improvements and new features:

  • Fade-in / out filter is applied correctly when using distributed encoding
  • Disc name and titles are displayed correctly when using languages ​​with double-byte characters
  • Location paths are respected when using Compressor via Terminal
  • Performance has been improved when exporting H.264 files and changing the frame rate

  • Fixed an issue that resulted in the marker buttons in the Touch Bar not displaying correctly
