This has been a fairly recurring performance and is that Apple adds new models of digital cameras compatible with RAW image format. The update comes after two months in which version 6.19 was released, and support for RAW images from a number of cameras is added to OS X El Capitan. This time we are talking about only 9 more digital cameras that add support for this image format that we who are editing photos like so much and do not want to lose quality of them in the edition.
The new cameras added by Apple In this update to the long list of compatible with the RAW format, they are the following:
- Canon ESOS-1D X Mark II
- Canon EOS 80D
- Canon EOS Rebel T6 / 1300 / Kiss X80
- Canon Powershot G7 X Mark II
- Olympus PEN-F
- Panasonic LUMIX DMC-GF8
- Panasonic LUMIX DMC-GX7 Mark II / GX80 / GX85
- Panasonic LUMIX DMC-ZS100 / TZ100 / TX1
- Sony Cyber-Shot DSC-RX10 III
If you have any of these digital camera models and you use the RAW format to take your photos and then edit them on the Mac without losing the good quality that this format offers us in the photos, they are now compatible with the latest OS X. Remember that you can access the new version directly from the menu > App store or accessing directly from the application Mac App Store> Updates. Although you are not one of those who use the RAW format for photos or do not have any of these digital cameras, we advise you to install this update released by Apple.
