As Apple continues to expand its electronic payments service in more countries as well as adding support for this form of payment in the Safari browser of the next version of macOS Sierra, the Cupertino-based company continues to update the number of banks that support this electronic payment technology.
Apple just updated the website for Apple Pay toExpanding the number of banks in both Canada and the United States, which already offers support on their cards to be able to add them to Wallet and to be able to use the NFC chip to make purchases in the stores where it is available.

The Cupertino Boys launched Apple Pay in October 2014, just days after the release of iOS 8 in a handful of banks and only in the United States. Since then, more than 1.000 banks and credit unions are already compatible with Apple Pay and over time it has been extended to the United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, mainland China, Hong Kong, Singapore, France and Switzerland.
Apple Pay allows us to make purchases in stores with compatible devices through the iPhone or Apple Watch, but also can be used to make purchases in supported applications and soon it will also be compatible with Safari for macOS Sierra.
