This new R&D seems to be focused on developing and perfecting Apple's future Artificial Intelligence, so that Siri becomes more than a maid who tells us the time, turns off the bluetooth or opens an application. Apple will collaborate with the Tokyo Integrated Intelligence Advanced Research Center that has just opened its doors and whose main objective is to develop Artificial Intelligence systems that are capable of solving problems with large amounts of data / variables.
This institution will work with large Japanese companies such as Sony, Nec and Toyota and will receive significant state funding worth $ 99,7 million.
