Yesterday we told you that this week Apple CEO Tim Cook I was going to travel to India to strengthen relations with the Prime Minister of the country and thus be able to disembark once and for all and have a greater presence in the country by opening new physical Apple Stores.

Today we have been able to learn more about what Apple intends with the Indian market in the short term and it has been known that they plan to open no more and no less than three new Apple Stores in the main cities of India. In this way, the inhabitants of this country could have more accessible the products of the apple brand and with this to be able to increase sales in a market that right now is as or more emerging than the Chinese one.

As stated in a report issued by FactorDaily, Apple would already be pulling strings to be able to open three stores in India before the end of 2017. Specifically, one of them will open in Bangalore, another in Delhi and the last in Mumbai, all of them in a time horizon of nothing more and nothing less than 18 months. This is possible thanks to the work that some XNUMX Apple executives are doing together with other workers specialized in opening physical stores.

The report also indicates that the new stores will have an area of more than three thousand square meters each, confirming that when Apple lands in a new country as far as the Apple Store is concerned, it does not take it lightly. Further, those stores would need investments of around three to five million dollars each.

Currently Apple sells its products through third-party stores and that is why they are strengthening ties with the Indian government to adjust the laws that would allow the opening of the Apple Store of which we have spoken to you.
