Appstat, a new macOS app for Apple developers

appstat

I have healthy envy of two groups of people: the musicians, and the programmers. I would love to know how to play an instrument and know how to program applications. I also know that I am incapable of it, that's why I envy them.

Today a new tool for Apple application developers was released. It shows the data of the programs they have for sale in the company's App Store. I would like to try it, but it will not be possible.

Developer Frank Krueger today launched a tool for macOS that will be very useful to developers of applications for Apple. It's called Appstat and it makes detailed data about the applications available for sale in the Apple App Store appear in the Mac menu bar.

Directly in the macOS menu bar, appstat displays detailed data from App Store Connectsuch as analytics, ratings, average and project sales, uploaded builds, etc.

The data it can show is the following:

  • Name and platform
  • Average revenue per day (including internal purchases)
  • Average sales per unit / day (including free apps)
  • Package identifier and SKU
  • Your app's website
  • Date and time of the official launch in the store
  • App grade rate (grades / month)
  • Latest version rating
  • Overall App Rating
  • Purchase-based device distribution
  • Distribution by country based on purchases
  • Income graph over time
  • Average income per day
  • Projected income by month and year
  • graph of unit sales over time
  • Latest builds uploaded to TestFlight

All these statistics are also linked to the corresponding section of the Apple developer website, so it can go directly from Appstat to your developer account. Appstat is available for $ 12,10 from its own website.
