As you already know, there are several options to choose from within the wide range offered by the Mac App Store regarding photo editing applications, but many times we only want to make small adjustments that do not imply open heavy suites with a multitude of tools that are difficult to use and that will lead us to make mistakes and start over more than once just to apply a couple of filters and cut the size of the photo.
For this, today I bring you Fotor, a simple application with very limited and direct options in terms of cropping, applying filters, adjustments and effects to your favorite photos.
First of all clarify that this application it's totally free and that by being able to download it from the Mac App Store, we will have greater assurance that everything will work as it should, although of course this is never safe. By opening it directly, it will invite us to drag any photo to the work area to start modifying it.
The use of this application is divided into three well differentiated phases
- As soon as we finish dragging the photo, it will offer us EXIF information and we can rotate it from left to right, being able to zoom or compare it with the original.
- Then we have a sidebar to apply effects, adjustments, distortions, points of view ... having multitude of options.
- Finally, we would only have to share the final result on facebook or twitter or simply export the content and save it locally.
It has been very good for me to retouch a couple of photos as a test, but what in the end I liked them more than the originals about I have replaced them, saving the originals first. The truth is that it cannot be easier, being able to obtain interesting results in just a few clicks, without any prior learning.
