Paul Deneve is no longer Vice President of Apple. On the company's website we can see each of the company executives and we did not find the former executive of Yves Saint Laurent, who was hired by Apple in 2013 as head of Special projects.
We are used to seeing job changes at Apple, as in any company, these changes are not often found directly from the dome. So far Paul Deneve responded to the direct orders of Tim Cook. We do not know what his exact role will be from now on, but his new manager becomes the Director of Operations Jeff Williams.
Deneve was hired by Apple to develop new projects, which at the same time provide a level of aesthetics and refinement of the highest level, but always with the Apple brand image. We can say that his main project has been the design of the Apple Watch, a product one hundred percent developed today, now touches on the refinement work that every product needs to grow and adapt over time.
Paul Deneve has also participated in the project Titan. At the same time, it has lent its support to Angela ahrendts in the recent restructuring of the Apple Stores, which are more like a museum or a large architectural building than a store selling products or giving small tutorials.
Apparently, the change in the dome is due to a current trend of companies to reduce the number of steps, making structures flatter. With this decision, the Apple structure is left with Tim Cook as CEO of the company and seven vice presidents and two project managers, with very specific tasks.
We hope that this change does not detract one iota from Apple's innovation capacity, but rather that Deneve joins forces with Jeff Williams to obtain the full satisfaction of all Apple users.
