Chris Lattner, creator of the Swift language, last only 6 months at Tesla

A few months ago the news broke of Chris Lattner's departure from Apple. Lattner was the founder of the Apple Swift programming language, a language that makes things much easier for developers and that little by little has become the tool most used by this community, a community that has expanded the scope of use of this language. Lattner assured that his cycle was over at Apple and that he was looking for new and innovative projects. Thesis was his destiny. At Tesla he would take care of the Vice Presidency of Autonomous and Autopilot Development at Tesla.

But a couple of days ago we woke up to the news claiming that Lattner had struck a deal with Tesla to leave the company. It seems that everything was painted very well but the reality was quite another. According to The Wall Street Journal, the main reason for his departure has been the demand of Elon Musk, CEO of Tesla, that the autonomous driving system was ready before the end of this yearCompletely impossible as Lattner has confirmed.

Keep in mind that most of the code that deals with the autonomous driving of Tesla vehicles has not been created by Lattner hence there is preferred to leave the company before entering deadlines that are impossible to meet without having had part of the responsibility in everything that has been done in recent years. On his Twitter account, Lattner assures that he is open to new projects and that he will hear offers from an experienced engineer. We will follow the journey of this important character in Apple's most recent history, despite having left the Cupertino-based company.

    Ignacio, misprints ...

Title: "Chris Lattner, creator of the Swift language, they last so alone." do they last or last?

End of the first paragraph: "Thesis was his destiny." Thesis or Tesla?

    Regards!
