Google has just released a new update to the Chrome browser, reaching version number 52, in which the Mountain View-based company has fixed the typical small bugs that users encounter on a daily basis, in addition to improving security introducing some patches. But what really stands out is the new design, inspired by the famous Material Design that came from the hand of Android 5. As we can see in the image that heads this article, this update offers us a new design of both the icons and the different elements that make up the user interface.
Another novelty of this update is the removing the return function from the clear key, something that we already announced a couple of months ago and that comes to try to prevent users from despairing every time they fill out a form and have to delete some data that they have entered incorrectly. This new version was in beta since last April. The new design called Material Design is now available in all the applications that Google currently offers us in the App Store.
The latest versions of Chrome for OS X, it seems that it has improved performance by consuming less resources when we use it. But despite the improvements the Google browser it is still a real problem for users who use it on their laptops. Google should consider redeveloping this application from scratch so that over time and if users want, it can become a real alternative to Safari on OS X. But everything seems to indicate that Google will continue to patch the application to improve performance and the resources that consumes the browser on OS X.
