raw-mac-format

We already have a new version of RAW compatibility for digital cameras available and this time we reached version 6.06. In this new version, Apple adds support for RAW images from various digital cameras to OS X Yosemite. This time we are talking about only 6 more digital cameras that add support for this image format that we who are editing photos like so much and do not want to lose quality of them in the edition.

The Sony firm takes most of this update with three of its numerous cameras that are added to the RAW compatibility and the other cameras are: one for Panasonic, one for Leica and another for Canon. The complete list with the camera models that become compatible and join the long list of available, is this:

  • Canon PowerShot G3 X
  • Leica Q (Type 116)
  • Panasonic LUMIX DMC-GX8
  • Sony Alpha ILCE-7R II
  • Sony Cybershot DSC-RX10 II
  • Sony Cybershot DSC-RX100 IV

If you are not sure if you updated to this version 6.06 because you have automatic updates activated, remember that you can access the new version directly from the  menu > App store or accessing directly from the application Mac App Store> Updates. Surely from Apple they continue to add new models of digital cameras to increase support in professional RAW format.
