Confirmed, Apple works on an autonomous driving system

Apple CEO Tim Cook himself is the one who has given this scoop. Apple is working on a project related to electric vehicles, but it is not a vehicle itself. It is an autonomous driving system that who knows which company is going to implement it in their vehicles.

A few months ago we told you that Lexus cars loaded with sensors had been seen leaving the Apple headquarters that surely had to do with that supposed autonomous driving system. Now it's Tim Cook himself the one that affirms that it is indeed that, of a project that Apple is developing but that the company of the bitten apple is not thinking of releasing an electric car for sale.

With all this, Tim Cook has clarified that Apple is indeed trying to enter the automotive world, but not manufacturing its own car, since in this way it would have to fight with brands that have been in this field for many years. What Apple wants is that many of these companies succumb to an autonomous driving system that can be implemented in vehicles of different brands, Apple being the leader in this field.

Tesla is the one that has to be stirring and it is that today it is the company that has the best electric cars in addition to having its autonomous driving system. Google has also been doing its first steps in this regard, but they have not arrived, for now to a good port.

Tim Cook knows that a key point is looming in the development of this type of technology, with new guidelines for change coming together at the same time.

Traveling in an autonomous electric car is indeed a fantastic experience.

That is why what Apple is really doing is giving a 180 degree turn to the Titan project and focus it to be the kings of an autonomous driving system that can be used by many others.
