Convert batch files with batchCONVERTER

When we want to convert many photos together, macOS natively offers us different options, but most of them involve a large number of steps. For special cases we do not need to resort to third-party applications, but if on the contrary, it has become something common in our day to day, the best we can do is use one of the applications available in the Mac App Store. batchCONVERTER is one of them, an application that allows us to change the format of a set or directory of photographs together. batchCONVERTER has a regular price in the Mac App Store of 2,99 euros.

The operation of the application is very simple, since we only have to select the directory where the images are located or drag them to the application. Once we have selected the images to convert from the format, we must specify in which folder we want to save the images with the new format. If we are going to convert many images, at the end of the process the application will send us a notification sound to notify us, although we can also see the progress in the application, where a percentage of it is shown. When finished, the folder where the images have been stored will open automatically.

batchCONVERTER is compatible with the most used formats, among which we find: JPG, JPEG, BMP, TIFF, PNG, PSD, TGA, GIF, JP2, PDF and ICN. This application barely occupies 1,5 MB, is available in English and is compatible with macOS 10.7 or later and requires a 64-bit processor. This application does not have configuration options, so the only values that we can modify are the input and output format of the images we want to convert, together with the output directory where we want to store the images to be converted.
