Dark Matter to be included as a new series on Apple TV +

Dark Matter new series Apple TV +

Matt Tolmach, a producer of action films and blockbusters such as Venom, Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle and Spider-Man: Homecoming, has teamed up with Apple to produce a new series that is sure to be a hit too. Based on a successful novel and with the experience of having previously developed a film for Sony. Dark Matter reaches out to the Apple TV + quality audience.

Dark Matter will be a series of success almost certain by the existing precedents. It will be released on a platform where quality prevails over quantity and that strives to be among the best. The producer of it will be Matt Tolmach who has previously produced blockbuster and hit movies like Venom. But it is also that the series comes preceded by a film for Sony by the same producer, that now what it will do is adapt it to the serial format.

Based on the hit novel  Blake Crouch's Dark Matter.  Described as a high-concept sci-fi thriller in the vein of Memento and Looper. The story is said to explore options, such as the paths taken and not taken, as well as how far we will go to reclaim the lives we dream of. Crouch sold the publishing rights for $ 1 million. He made another $ 1,25 million from the sale of the book to Sony in a 2014 deal.

The book was an instant New York Times bestseller that was published in 35 languages. It was selected as one of the best books of the year 2016 on Amazon. Four years later its serial transformation is announced, of which we still do not have a scheduled start date for filming, much less a release date. In fact we will have to wait for Apple to confirm this union with Matt Tolmach to verify that it is a reality.
