With DateBook, journaling has never been easier

A few years ago, writing diaries was an almost obligatory task for a certain sector of the population, a diary where the events that had occurred in our day to day and that we wanted to save for the future were written. But over time, many people have left this "nice" task, either due to lack of time, lack of desire or simply because they do not see it as a day-to-day need. If you are one of the people who has always liked to write a journal, noting your joys and sorrows, the application DateBook allows us to do it in a comfortable and simple way.

DateBook allows us to add new annotations in our diary in a very simple and fast way so that when we feel inspired, we do not waste time trying to open the corresponding blank sheet. To be able to read our notes more easily, DateBook puts at our disposal different types of format with which we can add bold, underline, strike out, add headers… If we are traveling, it also allows us to add the location, so that when consulting it, it is much easier to find the notes or thoughts while we made a certain trip.

If we see the need to share what we have written, from DateBook, we can export the content in PDF format to share them with other people quickly and easily. In addition, it incorporates a calendar that will also allow us to quickly know which days we have written and which ones not. It also offers us a fairly complete search engine to be able to search through our writings. When it comes to personalizing our documents, DateBook offers us 5 different themes.

This is all very nice, but what about security? DateBook offers us protection of access to the application by means of a password in addition to sync with iCloud, in case we use different devices on a day-to-day basis and we always want to have the content at hand. DateBook Jorunal, has a usual price of 4 euros in the Mac App Store, but for a few hours we can download it completely free of charge through the following link.

After trying it for a long time I like it but I find two problems:

1.- It is impossible to put a reminder, for example, April 12, 1951. There is no way to get the date. If you spend month to month, you die of boredom and when you want to put it because you have, finally arrived it does not leave you.

2.- It takes a long time to load
