With this application for Mac we can control the Brightness of the screen beyond the simple buttons that make up this keyboard functionality, that is to say, it will give us the option to generate our personalized settings in both the brightness level and the red tint in the screen colorimetry.
The specific application is not available for download from the Mac Appstore however, we can download it from several pages including the developer's, even though it is not online at the moment.
When you download it, no installer will appear, as it is a file ".App" we simply have to drag it to the applications folder or where more convenient for us and run it.
We will see how we install a background process With an icon in the shape of a lightbulb in the upper bar, by clicking on it we can manage the brightness through two sliders. A gear-shaped icon is also shown to access preferences.
From the preferences we can add custom brightness settings and level of red tint to adapt them to different situations in which we may find ourselves. In the general tab we can also adjust the "sliders" to use them in different ways.
In my opinion it is a functional application but quite dispensable if your daily work or hobby is not related to photo retouching or video editing, where we will have to fully adjust the screen (including brightness) to obtain the best operating conditions.If we do not conform to the profile that I have already mentioned, I think that the standard brightness control is more than enough, although it is worth trying it and see if it suits our needs.
