Door-to-door navigation is now available in India via Apple Maps

Despite the fact that India is not giving it the joys that the Cupertino-based company had deposited in this country, Apple does not throw in the towel and has just launched a new function through its map service, a map service that already allows you to use it as a traditional browser, go from one point to another.

It is especially striking that this elementary function for many users around the world was not available in the country, a country where there is a large number of company workers working on this company map service.

From this moment, anyone who visits the country in addition to residents, can use Apple Maps to move freely throughout the country, allowing to calculate the door-to-door route. In addition, it also offers support for services such as Uber and Ola, so that we can request a private taxi directly from our location to take us to our destination.

While it is true that if you live in India or plan to travel to that country in the App Store you have different applications at your disposal, they do not offer you proactive alerts or navigation through Apple Watch offered by Apple maps.

These new features aren't the only ones Apple Maps has received. Yesterday we informed you about the availability in 4 new cities of the Flyover function, a function thate allows us to take a bird's eye view of cities.

The function that is currently taking longer to reach more cities is the one that allows us to move around the cities using public transport, a function that seems to it's giving the company a lot of headaches.
