Currently in the market we can find different services that allow us to store our favorite web pages so that we can read them when we have time. Throughout the day, probably when we go back from work, we will most likely check our Facebook wall, the Twitter timeline or visit different blogs to see what new content they have posted.
If the journey is relatively short, we can save the links of the articles that interest us most to read them when we get home or at any other time through the mobile applications or web services offered by both Pocket and Instapaper. If we find an article that we would like to discuss for posterity, we can store it directly on our hard drive, keeping the same format and images.
Through Safari, and practically through any browser we can download our favorite web pages in Webarchive format, a format that is responsible for downloading all the images found in the article in question, to be able to read it without the need for an Internet connection and without having to use third-party applications or services that I have discussed above. How to download web pages with Safari
- As is logical, we must first go to the website in question. It must be borne in mind that if we go to the root of a website, the information that is saved will be the one found there, not all web pages that are in the same domain will be included.
- Once we are in the section of the web that we want to save, we must go to File and click Save As.
- Then an information box will appear where it will be displayed the name of the website with which the information will be stored, the directory and if we want to add a label to it.
- Finally, we must go to Format, where we have to select Web File, so that not only the web is downloaded, but also all the elements found in it are included, such as images, graphics ...
