If you have just recently purchased one of the new iMac Retina with 5k resolution but do not know where to download different backgrounds with Christmas motifs at the native resolution of your screen, we have found a selection of some of them so that you can enjoy all the detail that these screens are capable of displaying with any of these backgrounds.
From the hand of the publication OS X Daily we have found these 16 Christmas backgrounds so that you can download them in a folder and choose the one you like the most. The author of these beautiful backgrounds is Radoslav Holan, blogger and photographer for an agency in Prague where he has posted these captures on his personal blog.
The variety is not really very high because they are all based on the same background of Christmas balls and lights, but with different effects applied at different angles. However, in my view they are quite beautiful and above all colorful, something that, as I have already said, agrees with my personal taste.
On other occasions we have left different links to wallpapers, especially from the Devian ART website where you can find all kinds of high quality illustrations and images. The pack consists of a 67 Mb .ZIP file where each of these wallpapers has a resolution of 5472 x 3648 pixels, something really impressive knowing that for example my iMac screen has less than half the size resolution of these screens.
