Drake has done it again. The king of streaming music has done it again. Canadian rapper, songwriter and actor has once again broken all the records established so far in streaming reproductions during the first 24 hours.
In Apple Music, without going any further, the rapper managed to set a new record, since his new album was broadcast by the platform's subscribers some 89.9 million times during the first day of the disc's life. The record so far was also held by the previous album by the Canadian composer.
More Life, which is the name of his new job, was supported by the radio show Beast 1 by OVO Sound Radio, being broadcast live on Saturday night, while Drake himself was releasing each of his new tracks that make up his new album.
Although with a minor impact, More Life also achieved the same record in Spotify, where it was reproduced more than 61.3 million times during their first day of life.
"Free Smoke" ranks as the most played song of his new work, accompanied on the podium by "Portland" and "Passion Fruit". The album is currently also available on iTunes.
