Inside the new iOS 10 Photos app, we find a section called "Memories." This new feature is automatic and is built on the new face, object and place recognition functions that Photos integrates.

"Memories" are automatic movies created from photos and videos taken at a certain time and placer, for example, from the last trip you have made. Photos she creates by herself, searching your reel, but also you can adjust and edit each Memory to your liking in a very simple way.

Once the first Memories appear, you can easily edit them. To do this, follow the following steps:

You can also edit any video in this section of the application. Once you have found it in the "Photos and Videos" section, you can enlarge or shorten each clip by dragging its beginning and end in the editing tool that will appear on the dog's part of the screen.

When you have your Memory ready, press the back arrow to return to the main editing screen.

Thanks for the info. I think I'm a bit clumsy today, on iPhone 5 I don't see this "memories" or that or it's not for this device

Hi. If you've only recently upgraded, you should let Apple's "intelligence" do its job so it can start showing you Memories. As far as I know, this feature is compatible with the iPhone 5.

I still don't understand why they don't hide the photos with a password to be private, they put them hidden and they appear on the reel, you take a selfie and they come out in two albums, I don't like the iOS photo management at all, it's the only thing that I don't I like.

Can you choose the cover photo in the memory film?

The problem is that although the videos are great, when uploading them to Facebook they are seen with horrible quality 🙁 Any ideas to solve it? Thank you so much!!!

    1.    Nuria Aragon said

Yes you can. In edit mode, it asks you directly for the cover image (in the same place where you can say how long you want it to be, the title name, etc.)

I can't find this on iPhone 5c, with the comments I read it seems that I'm not the only one who says the same

I have not been able to change the order of the photos, is it possible?

  10.   Nuria Aragon said

Well, what do you want me to tell you? This possibility does not work so well for me. When you want the memory just like the iPhone does, ok. It's fantastic. But when you want to edit it, not anymore. You edit the length of the videos that appear in it, if it is with a voice or not, you remove some photos and add others, put other music, add the title and the cover image ..., everything comes out great, everything looks great but then When you give it to create a memory, some of the videos that had a voice come out without a voice, it changes the horizontal to the vertical of some photos, some of the selected ones do not appear and repeat others, etc.
Come on, I always have to re-edit and edit the memory and I rarely get it to produce everything correctly.
The idea is great but the application fails a lot.
And I have a full capacity iPhone 11 Pro Max, with updated software. So the problem is not there ...
