Many are the applications that we can install on our Mac from the Apple application store. Many are paid, but many others are totally free. This is the case of the application myTuner Radio Free. It is a radio tuner for the Mac with which you will be able to listen to radio stations from all over the world over the Internet.
It is a free application that, in a very simple way, allows you to select the radio stations from listen on your Mac and also, you will be able to record what you hear directly and in .mp3 files.
myTuner Radio Free can be found in the Apple App Store, the Mac App Store. Once installed you will be able to appreciate that when you run it appears in the top menu bar of the desktop an icon of a radio. When you click on it, a drop-down menu opens in which you will be able to manage everything that can be done with this small application.
If you decide to search for radio stations by country, just press the word Radios so that a list was displayed with the flags of the countries that have radio stations available on the Internet. When you select a certain country, the icons and names of the available stations appear in the central window. To start enjoying any of them, you just have to double click on the name.
As you can see, on the inside of the window you have three icons, one is the PLAY, another is the REC and another for the VOLUME. As we told you at the beginning of this article, whenever you want, just press the record icon so that what is being listened to on that station is recorded in a .mp3 format file. In order to manage the settings of the recordings, you can enter the gear icon in the upper right part of the window.
In addition, the application also allows you to listen to the stations depending on the topic that is being broadcast at that time, so that if we use the word MUSIC TOPS, we get a list with the most listened songs that are being broadcast.
In short, an application that being free you have no excuse to download it and try it. I have been using it for several days and it is not wasted. I encourage you to download it and enjoy the music on your Mac in a simple way.
