Finally the European Union Court rules in favor of Apple for the judgment on the 13.000 million dollars that the Cupertino company had to pay for defrauding taxes in Ireland. The complaint that was imposed by the European Commission in 2016 wanted to force the apple company to pay up to 13.000 million euros in back taxes to Ireland.
Keep in mind that even for a company as large as Apple, a fine of 13.000 million euros that would be slightly more than 14.300 million dollars is a lot of money. The representative of the Cupertino firm Daniel Beard, stood firm in the statements before the General Court of the European Union, in Luxembourg and finally the ruling favors Apple.
There was no favorable treatment from Ireland towards Apple
Finally this favorable treatment cannot be demonstrated in illegal aid and the Cupertino company for the moment would be spared this enormous amount of money.
