Fiat and Chrysler CEO is not concerned about Apple's support carplay, but it seems that when it comes to the manufacture of a car by Apple, the CEO of Fiat and Chrysler thinks that Apple I should skip that headache.
Sergio Marchionne is CEO of Fiat Chrysler, and was present in el Geneva Motor Show where he answered some questions that journalists asked him. When Apple found itself amid rumors about its own car, Marchionne was not shy about voicing his views on the idea that Apple might be looking into building its own car, comparing it to a "disease " that Apple would recover over time.
If Apple has a need to make a car, I would like to advise you to lie down and wait until that feeling passes, I leave Marchionne to reporters. Diseases like this will come and go, you will recover from them, it is not lethal.
Marchionne also said that the car manufacturing industry has more than enough room to handle the manufacturing needs that Apple does if it decides to build a car, and that they should not go alone in that adventure. Marchionne believes that Apple should partner with another company, rather than enter the "Complex business" by itself.
Apple's car is not official yet, but Tim Cook has joked about the project recently saying that "It's going to be on Christmas Eve", which suggests that people are going to be eagerly awaiting the car's unveiling for quite some time yet.
