Final Cut Pro X is updated with the ability to export 4k content to Apple devices and much more

Apple's professional video editor, Final Cut Pro X, is updated to version 10.2.3 today, with changes in the interface for the user and increased compatibility and extended back-end processing support for different types of new files and computers. For example, a 4K content export preset has been added to the application to create video files geared towards Apple's own devices.

In addition to this, other improvements have been added expanding the possibility of have multiple YouTube accounts and sharing options on iPhone 6 / 6s, iPhone 6 / 6s plus, iPad Pro, and fourth-generation Apple TV. Now users can import data from formats such as Canon XF-AVC from the same company's C300 Mark II camera.

  • Fixed an issue that caused some objects in Motion templates to render with smooth edges
  • Inclusion of iPhone 6s, iPhone 6s Plus, iPad Pro and Apple TV (4th generation) to the list of supported Apple devices displayed in the Motion sharing window
