If Spotlight, the search engine built into Mac, is too small for you due to the high number of files or content that you have hosted in the cloud, Found may be the solution. This application from the developer Found Software Inc. is just as effective searching for files locally as Spotlight can be, but it also integrates the particularity that it can search any online content that we own.
In this way you will be able to have located absolutely all those files that otherwise would have to be searched manually, therefore it performs a complete indexing of everything, a point very in its favor. Apart from this, it also shows us a preview of the files it finds in the purest Quicklook style.
The first thing it asks when executing it is that let's enter our email address to sign up for the service.
The next thing would be to add all the folders that we want the program to take into account when searching for these files, even specifies that this is necessary for security reasons since we will have to be the ones who give the program permission to do so.
Later we will have to add our accounts Dropbox, SkyDrive, Google Drive ... so that you can also carry out searches on our online services.
