It seems that Apple TV is bound to make daily news. Now it is not up to the rumors of the possible next model, but to the first model that Apple put on sale, the first generation Apple TV.
There have been two different models of Apple TV in terms of shape, the first generation, made of aluminum, with a larger size and included a hard disk inside and the current shape, a small black box without internal disc.
Apple's support forums have filled up in a matter of hours of complaints from thousands of users who own one of these early Apple TV models because they can't connect to the iTunes Store. It all started in a timely manner in some users, but in a short time it has become widespread, currently taking three days without being able to make the aforementioned connections.
For the time being there is no solution for the bug and Apple has not said anything about it. Some users have tried restarting the device without success on any of the occasions.
There are rumors that it may be possible that there is a failure in Apple's servers that is similarly related to the problem that iOS 6 users are having when they cannot make FaceTime calls with their devices.
For now, if you have one of these Apple TVs, you should be attentive to the next news to see if Apple ends up releasing a statement about it clarifying what really happened and how the problem can be solved.
