During the last months, we have shown you how the works of Apple Campus 2 have evolved from a drone view, a view that has allowed us to see the monthly exterior progress of the works. However, as we not only live from drone views, today we show you the images that the guys from MacGeneration have obtained from the interior of the works, some works that, unlike what it might seem at first, they are much more advanced than was supposedAlthough it is part of it, it is logical considering that at the beginning of next year Apple intends to move to these new facilities.
The French website MacGeneration has finished an internal email that Apple has sent to some of its employees in which we can see in addition to the status of the works, some renderings of how the facilities will be once completed, both outside with abundant vegetation surrounding the campus (about 3.000 trees in total will be planted both outside and inside the campus), speakers that will be integrated into the marble walls inside the venue (same marble used in the renovation of the Apple Store on Regent Street), seem made with a mixture of carbon fiber pieces….
The works will finish early next year and it will be then when Apple will begin to make the move to the new facilities. The cost of the land where Apple Campus 2 is currently located, has been 160 million dollars, while the total cost of the works is estimated at about 500 million dollarsDespite the continuous problems that Apple has had with the contractors that have carried out the work over the last two years, works that we have seen grow from a drone view.
