First impressions of the new MacBook 12 ″ fall

Just a while ago I was commenting on imminent launch of the new 12-inch MacBook scheduled for tomorrow and now the first video reviews and opinions of the new Apple machine. These reviews are from various media and each one expresses their impressions of the new Apple machine.

Most of the comments are directly related to the small size achieved by Apple on this Mac, the power of the processor, the keyboard and its new trackpad with Force Touch technology. Some of these media 'complain' or do not see at all clear that it only has a USB-C port and that it will be necessary to get used to the short distance and larger keys of the new keyboard added by Apple, but most predict a great future .

Another issue that we have to look at is the spectacular Retina screen that all Apple users already know and how good this Macbook looks. The results of the processor in terms of numbers (which is not the same as real tests) with the Geekbench tool, can be quite fair and that is why we must be very clear about the tasks that we are going to perform with the new 12-inch MacBook .

Some opinions

In the case of Darrell Etherington, from TechCrunch media, explains that he expected slowness and lack of 'chicha' in this MacBook to use Photoshop, Final Cut Pro or Logic Pro, but the machine surprised him a lot and was not as slow as initially thought.

Dieter Bohn, del mendio, The Verge, explain that eIt's fast enough for 70 percent of your day-to-day work, but a little slower than you're used to. It works fine, but it is slower than your current Mac and obviously when it asks for video editing tasks or working with large libraries, this slows down too much.

USB-C complaints come from Dana Wollman of Engadget. The reason for the complaint is that today we are not facing a standard port and that means the new MacBook an extra load of expensive accessories to adapt a simple USB or charge the MacBook and transfer files. The truth is that it is a subject that brings a tail but if you think it will be the future of devices.

Finally the opinion of Joanna Stern, from the well-known The Wall Street Journal. This is the most critical opinion with the new MacBook and explains that although it is true that this Mac can become a very good machine in the future, today he believes that the best purchase is a MacBook Air or MacBook Pro Retina 13-inch before this new MacBook.

Andrew Cunningham, Ars Technica explains that the new MacBook kind of forces us to a wireless lifestyle and wondering if that is possible today around the world. Better connections and greater 'dependency' on this single USB-C port can be a problem for the new MacBook.

The price of the basic model makes it a 'complicated to choose' MacBook for a type of user who requires power and so on, but this happens in all Macs and ultimately with all current gadgets. Every opinion counts and it is clear that they are an important basis for those users who want to get hold of one of these machines, but the best we can do is try by all means to approach an Apple store or a reseller close to home and try it ourselves even for a few hours.

The new MacBook arrived just when I bought my second Mac: a used white Mid 2010 MacBook, I always wanted to have it in those years I had the idea of buying it but I never did, but I put 8gb of ram and a 250gb ssd; Perhaps in the second or third generation I will give the new product a chance, which incidentally takes the style of the iPhone, including the polished apple, I would have liked bright, but difficult with the thinness of the equipment.
