This is an application that I have personally been using for a long time and that although it is true is not one of the free ones that we find in the Mac App Store, it is one that we can consider as a good purchase. IN this case the application Forecast Bar, reaches version 3.0.3 with several new features, improvements and above all more details about the time.
And is that Forecast Bar, is an application dedicated exclusively to weather forecasting and we ooffers the ability to view up to 10 different locations that are kept updated at all times each time we click on the places previously selected.
These are the improvements that have been implemented in the application:
- Fixes an issue that affected the inversion of colors in the macOS High Sierra widget
- Fixed a bug in reading high / low temperatures now using the sunrise to sunrise reading instead of midnight to midnight
- A new option is added to hide the Now graph
- They add 8 new languages and a referral program for our friends
- The widget adds the temperature «Use Feels Like» which is like the «wind chill»
- In addition, a solution is added to the problem that prevented the full forecast from being displayed in macOS 10.11 and the typical improvements and bug fixes are added
Forecast Bar detects automatically the location to set the units of measure in which it will show the information, but we can add cities manually without problem. Thanks to the Time Machine function we can see the weather at any time in past years, which turns the application into a kind of diary in which we have options to see the past weather. In any case, we are facing a really worked application, with a price that is not economical by any means, but that far exceeds the native application that Macs bring, both in terms of success and design, despite the fact that in recent times they have improved. quite as far as the forecast is concerned.
