In mid-September a new application for Mac called FaceAlert was launched, and it caught my attention because of the function it performed on the Mac, but personally I did not find a use for it in my case. Of course it can be useful for many users and now being free for a limited time I think may be a good time to get hold of it.
It is a kind of "rear view" application for the Mac that use the Mac camera to see what is happening behind our back and the moment it detects a person, it seems to us a window in which we will see without having to turn what is happening behind us thanks to the small window that appears in a corner of our screen.
The application is very good since it runs in the background constantly and allows you to configure the activation sensitivity of the visual window so that it is not activated every time someone passes our back and the size and position of the sale. The FaceAlert settings menu is quite complete and certainly for places where we can fear being watched / spied on While working with our Mac, it can be very useful for users of any MacBook outside the home.
I already said before that the function that the application performs is not something necessary for many users, including myself, much less if we work with an iMac at home since if we are in the privacy of our home I doubt that it will be useful, but for office, university or public places if it can be useful.
