On many occasions the best way to remember an idea that comes to mind is through a recording. A few years ago, there were several phones on the market that they allowed us to save our ideas simply by pressing a button, ideal for those people who spend many hours behind the wheel and cannot stop the vehicle every time an idea comes to mind.
Currently most phones have a sound recorder, but unlike older phones, do not have a dedicated button, which prevents us from making quick use of this function. Fortunately, if we are owners of an iPhone, we can tell Siri to point the idea to us as a reminder so that when we get home it reminds us.
But for those people who spend the day in front of the computer, and especially and work from home, the ideal is have an application that allows us to quickly record our ideas without having to open a document, the notes application or any other method that we use to remind ourselves that we have something pending. Having the possibility of recording our ideas on the Mac is something that allows us to manage them in a much simpler and more comfortable way than if we did it from our iPhone.
In the Mac App Store we can find various applications that allow us to record audio. Many of them are paid. The Pro Recordings application offers us the same as most applications, but unlike these, Recordings Pro is available for download for free for a few hours. It also allows us to organize all our recordings in a list, so that it is much easier to find the one we are looking for. But it also allows us to program the start time of the recording, create a ringtone as well as shorten, mix and combine the recordings.
