Among the many options that the different developers offer us to free up the RAM memory of our Mac, I have come across this one in particular that, although it is not the most effective, its interface has caught my attention and it taking care of your aesthetics.
As you can see from the image that heads the article, the 'mascot' is some kind of robot which will be animated and will move as the program frees unused memory.
As I have mentioned before, its effectiveness is not the best, having options such as Free Memory or Clean Memory They do a better job in this regard, but it is also true that sometimes they slow down the system by releasing more than necessary, something that does not happen with MemoryKeeper.
When installing it, it will leave us a direct access in the upper bar of background programs and shortcuts so that we can program it and perform automatic memory maintenance or simply to open the program or change your preferences.
On the other hand, the interface is very pleasing to the eye and it shows that they have spent time animating the robot, giving the feeling of a well-finished product. Regarding the preferences we will have two cleaning modes to choose between Quick or Full, that is, between fast or complete, giving us to understand that if we choose the most complete and deep cleaning, it can cause the system to slow down with loss of performance.
In addition, it also gives us the possibility of marking a certain amount as a limit for the memory that we want to free when the process is carried out automatically recommending not to exceed the 10% of total of our installed memory.
