Free workshops at the Apple Store for back to class

We continue to enjoy a few days of full sun in many parts of Spain, but Apple's machinery continues to walk relentlessly. A few weeks ago discounts were launched for the back to class in the US, from which Spanish students could also benefit to buy their devices.

Now, after enjoying the summer, without some of us having yet returned from the long-awaited vacations, workshops are launched for university or higher education students that will teach them how to use the Mac, iPad and iPhone to the maximum.

The workshops will be held in the last days of August and the beginning of September, being totally free and requiring that those interested make their reservation of place through the Apple Store website http://www.apple.com/es/retail/ or with the free downloadable Apple Store app for iPad, iPhone or iPod Touch.

The workshops will be of three types and of one hour duration. The three types of workshops available are:

• Study better: Attendees will learn how to make the most of existing applications for the Mac, iPhone or iPad. You can also get to work creating multi-touch books and presentations.
• Creativity above all: They will learn how to use iPhoto, iMovie, and GarageBand, either for class or for their own fun. They will meet many creative applications available on the App Store.
• Always connected: Will be shown how to stay connected with colleagues from the Mac, iPad, iPhone or iPod Touch, using FaceTime, iMessage and many other social applications that are available.

Apple has ten Apple Store stores in Spain: Madrid (Xanadú, Gran Plaza 2 and Parquesur), Barcelona (La Maquinista and Passeig de Gracia), Valencia (Calle Colón), Marbella (La Cañada), Murcia (Nueva Condomina), Zaragoza ( Puerto Venecia) and Valladolid (Río Shopping).
