Fantastical is an application that revolutionized calendar management mainly due to its intelligent management. Now, the same team of developers have created card shop, designed for those users who handle a large number of contacts on a daily basis, both when entering them into the system and managing them. This application adds a breath of fresh air to the macOS contacts application, which is still practical and simple, but at the same time we ask for new smart functions let them return to the level it deserves.
Mainly Cardshop excels at managing information intelligently. Like the Fantastical application, it is capable of ordering messy information. For example, if we write or copy and paste from an email signature: José Lopez Martinez phone 123456789 and mobile 987654321 email test@prtamos.com, Cardshop is able to sort all that information and create a contact with it.
But its smart features don't stop there: we can find contacts and act with them. We can perform these actions with the native macOS application. For example, if we tell you to contact by video, by default it will open FaceTime. However, in configurations we can tell you to do the action via skype or another application to the effect.
The order of the contacts is another strong point. In addition to ordering it alphabetically, we can sort it by upcoming birthdays, last contacts added or the last ones used. Finally, it has a notes section, which appears every time we interact with the contact, to always have the information at a glance.
