Yesterday I spoke of Native iOS Calendar and everything you could do with it, today it is the turn of the Clock, the alarm and the time, which with the latest version of the operating system (of which we are testing the beta) has included new functions and has improved the previous ones with a redesign of the interface.
In my opinion it is one of the most useful and basic applications. Here's what you can do with it.
Much more than a watch for iOS
It really is much more than a clock, since although in the icon you can see the time in real time and from it you can see different data and time zones, it is used for many more things. This is, in order, what you can do with this app:
- World clock. Check the time and if it is day or night in the countries you want. The app shows you a map with the time and name of the areas you choose.
- Alarm. You can manage it manually or ask Siri to do it. Set your alarms to avoid falling asleep, modify the tone with which you want to wake up and all those settings.
- Dream. A new feature in iOS 10. The smart alarm that adapts to you and your schedule based on the time you go to bed and when you have to get up. This gives us clues that the Apple Watch 2 could have some sleep-related features.
- Chronometer. With the typical functions of a stopwatch. Count time accurately, mark laps, or stop.
- Timer You can put music on and set it to stop after a while or directly count down. Ask Siri too.
And this is Clock for iOS. We will see if it continues to improve with news, although the truth is that it is very complete and little more can be asked of it.
