How to turn Handoff on or off in macOS

Handoff

We can start by explaining a little about the function that Apple offers on computers with macOS, iOS or watchOS called Handoff and which actually serves to continue with the task we are doing from another device than the one we are working on. A clear and simple example that I always give to explain what Handoff is is that if you are using Safari to read an article in soy de Mac from your iPhone and you sit in front of the iMac, you can continue reading the same article clicking directly on the Safari icon that appears on your Mac.

Obviously, some minimum requirements are needed to be able to carry out this task between teams and we can use apps such as Calendar, Pages, Nums, Contacts, Safari or some third-party apps, but not all of them are compatible with this great function, just as they are not all Apple devices. It also serves to send a document that we have copied to the clipboard, a photo, a video, etc. and pass it between iOS devices and our Mac, a really complete tool.

In any case now what we want to show is how to activate or deactivate this function on our Mac, so let's see the steps we have to perform. It is something that at first I do not advise deactivating since it is very useful on many occasions but you have to know that it is possible to activate or deactivate it whenever we want.

The first thing is to access the Apple menu in the  and click on System Preferences. Now we have to access General and then just check or uncheck the box that says: "Allow Handoff between this Mac and your iCloud devices." With these simple steps we can do the task.

Less than a week I have been having problems with Handoff. It turns out that I use nordVPN and it seems that this does not allow me to use this function. Anyone having the same problem? There's a solution?
