In the last three years, we have seen photography once again become a differentiating factor within smartphones. Once the pixel war was over and all manufacturers began to opt for a standard resolution of 12 mpx, the war started again, this time because of the Bokeh effect.
The Bokeh effect takes care of blur the background, either through lenses or through software (as Google does with the only camera that the Pixels integrate). When we work with images on our Mac, we probably want to add that nice blur or completely eliminate the background. We have both options at our disposal through Photoshop or Pixelmator.
However, the process is somewhat more complicated than it might seem, since although Photoshop offers us this function through its application in its latest version, the price that it has can put back many users. In Pixelmator, the process is not that simple, but it is long and tedious.
In order to remove the background from our images without wasting much time, we have at our disposal a simple application called remover.bg, an application that only does that function: eliminate the background of the photographs. We just have to drag the images to the application, select if we want the background to be transparent or of a specific color and click on Start.
Automatically the application will take care of the whole process in just a few seconds. If you usually find yourself in need of this process, it is likely that it will compensate you to pay the 9 euros per month for this application, for the cheapest version.
Although we can also pay for the number of images to which we want to remove the background, this being probably the best option we have at our disposal if we do not want to chain ourselves to a new subscription. Remover.bg offers us a pack of 5 credits for 1,99 euros, one of 50 credits for 9,99 euros and one of 500 credits for 69,99 euros.
